This has always been one of my favorite Confederate buttons. While not super-rare, it is certainly not common anymore. It is the LA-6 in Albert's book and LA-221 in Tice. The button has nearly all its original gilting and a perfectly straight shank. There is some discoloration on the back but the Scovill backmark is still quite easily discerned. I suspect the back could be cleaned, too.

Using the “Order Information” button right below the price USUALLY works, but not always.  I don’t know why, but it could have to do with spam settings on either end. The easiest way to order or inquire about an item is simply to email me directly.  Again, my email address is cwartifax@gmail.com
