Here's another dug eagle breast plate (more accurately called a cross belt plate) in splendid condition. There are no repairs to the plate, 99% of the lead is there - just a tiny bit of flaking, and the hooks are rock-solid. Best of all is that milk chocolate patina with much of the dirt from the day of recovery still clinging to the face. I'm excited to be able to offer plates of this caliber. Sorry, I have no idea where it was dug.
