The condition of this book is poor to fair with a partially broken binding and a fair amount of water damage. I wish it were pristine or at least in "good" condition but there's nothing I can do about it. If you restore antiquarian books, this might be a labor of love for you. Photos should give you an excellent idea of condition. On the plus side, the book is complete and all original. It is not a modern reprint nor has any attempt at restoration been made. Also, the actual text and pages are quite solid. The diagrams are almost as clear as they were in 1859. This one's a project fo someone. It's a blank slate for you to work with if you want to try or if you want to send it off to a professional.

In good condition, this book retails at between $150.00 and $200.00 on the few antiquarian book sites that even had it. In very fine condition, it was listed between $350 and $450.00.

What I need for it is a fraction of that. I hate to see any book in this condition but I am not skilled at rebinding or restoration.
