I have finally acquired a small quantity of these very popular pistol bullets. They are often erroneously called "Remington" revolver bullets. At least, that's what I have called them for many years. While they may have been used in Remingtons, they are basically .36 caliber pistol bullets manufactured at the St. Louis Arsenal. Of course, we all know these more commonly as "teardrops" because of their unusual shape.

No collection of Civil War ammunition is complete without a couple of these cool, little bullets. The ten I currently have in stock were all dug in Tennessee, but there's no specific information beyond that.

The bullet you see pictured is quite representative of all of them -- they are all in outstanding, undamaged condition. The price below is for ONE of these.

This would make a wonderful stocking-stuffer for the history fanatic in your life!
