This delightful cover is in VG-EXC unused condition with only the lightest soiling and wear. The back flap is completely attached and the back is blank. I do not scan photos of the backs of covers if they are perfect, but if you would like a picture, please email me and ask.

The color is quite sharp and the beautiful flag, handshake and "Union Forever" motif clearly size up the mood of the country north of the Mason Dixon line.

I believe patriotic covers -- used and unused -- may be some of the wisest buys on the Civil War market these days. Like any collectible, there is no 100% guarantee they will increase in value over the years -- but Civil War items have, for the last 40 or 50 years, proven to be very reliable investments.

That said, fun and celebrating American History should be our primary goal. And few aspects of Civil War collecting are as fun or educational as these patriotic envelopes. I have a great number in stock so please look them all over!
