This non-excavated button is in almost mint condition and dates to about 1870.  It has a perfectly straight shank and a "Pettibone Mf'g." backmark.

State seal buttons of the Indian war era are still quite affordable, but this may not be the case forever.  If you need a button to fill the "Florida" place in your display case, you might want to purchase this one until you can afford a Civil War dated example.  (The Civil War Florida button, in nice, non-dug condition should set you back between $2500 and $3000.)

IF YOU WANT TO ORDER AN ITEM…

(or just ask a question about it) please email me directly at cwartifax@gmail.com

Using the “Order Information” button right below the price USUALLY works, but not always.  I don’t know why, but it could have to do with spam settings on either end. The easiest way to order or inquire about an item is simply to email me directly.  Again, my email address is cwartifax@gmail.com

Thanks!
