No collection of relic bayonets or dug weapons is complete without a Potsdam. These were used early in the war, with the Potsdam musket. A lot of them saw Southern useage. I believe this one to be either dug or an early battlefield pickup. It is in exceptionally good condition for a relic. Totally complete. Keep in mind, the Potsdam bayonet never had a locking ring of any kind. Sorry, but I don’t have details on where this was recovered.
