Historically, I've stayed away from commemoratives from the centennial and the mid 20th century or later. Just because you can't stock everything. But I've had a number of customers ask for older postcards with Civil War themes. They are dirt-cheap, for one thing and usually in splendid condition. But they are also easily framed and make excellent display accents to go with an original relic, document or image.

Here's a great post-card that would've been sold in Gettysburg about 60 years ago. It would look terrific in a case with a few Gettysburg bullets or maybe even a George Pickett clip signature. Best of all, it won't break the bank. (Not even the piggy bank!)
