They don't get prettier than this! This US Waist Belt Plate is the arrow-hook variety with the slightly beveled tongue. As you can see, tongue and both hooks remain and the plate has 99.5% lead fill. There are no cracks, chips or repairs of any kind to this relic. Best of all, that deep-woods patina makes the "U" and the "S" stand out from across the room. The plate also has a perfect body curve.

It was dug on private property in Varina, Virginia. I believe that is near Richmond, but please correct me if I am in error.

This is a belt plate I would not hesitate to put into my collection...and I am pretty picky!
