In addition to the beautiful 1857 Seated Liberty quarter we have for sale, this dime was also dug up in a camp of New York Militia. The recovery was made on private property near Stafford Court House, Virginia.

The dime is in good condition with some light wear to the reverse. You can still read "ONE DIME", though it is light.

Dug coins are quite popular little display artifacts. They look terrific in any exhibit of a soldier's personal effects. So if that's what you're looking for, if you collect NY-related Civil War items or if you're just looking for a representative example of some Civil War coins -- we have this and a number of others.

Thanks for looking!
