Beautiful low-convex 16 mm cuff/vest button for a Federal Infantry officer. The button is dug and still retains some of the original thread that once held it to the vest or coat. About 90% gilt remains, the shank is straight and the D. Evans backmark is crisp. No pushes, cracks, pinholes or repairs.

This one would be hard to upgrade!
