This rare bullet was metal-detected on private property, north of Vicksburg, Mississippi. It's one you don't see for sale very often. For years, diggers and collectors referred to this as a "Bavarian Sharps". That nomenclature is no longer considered valid and experts are of varied opinions as to the origin of this bullet.
