This would be a $45.00-$55.00 button in mint condition as this backmark isn't the most common of the backmarks used by Steele & Johnson. This particular specimen might be a good restoration project for someone if you know how to remediate the problems seen on the back. The button still has pretty gilt in places, a crisp marking and a perfectly straight shank.

 

I've priced this for a quick sale. I'd love to see what it looks like when it's been cleaned. (Normally, I don't advocate cleaning but this needs it.)
