Cover is unused and in excellent condition. Mounting residue on the back is not considered detrimental to value. This cover was in a collection that likely dates to the Civil War.

Envelope depicts a patriot holding flags with his sword drawn and pointing down. I have another for sale with a patriot waving his sword in the air. They would make a spectacular set, particularly if they were framed. You could even look at some other covers I have with colonial or George Washington themes. What a cool display!
